Chocolate Custard

Ingredients
¼ cup Granulated sugar
½ cup Milk powder
½ cup Cornflour
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
¼ cup Cocoa powder
1 tbsp Sugar
Method
Step 1
In a blender, add milk powder, cornflour and granulated sugar. Blend into fine powder.
Step 2
Add milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, sugar and 3 tbsp custard powder to a saucepan. Place on medium heat and bring to a light simmer.
Step 3
Then whisk constantly till the custard thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Step 4
Take off heat and keep aside to cool. Add fresh Banana slices and serves.
Tips
You can replace granulated sugar with coarse sugar.
Whisk the custard occasionally to avoid lumps.
After the custard comes to a boil, reduce the heat to avoid burning the custard.
You can add 2 tsp of vanilla custard and leave out cocoa powder to make a vanilla custard.
Add 1tbsp cornflour to make the custard thicker if necessary.
